Prof. Dr. Eng. Labib Gaafar founded Cranes Engineering Centre (CEC) in 1983 under the name Egypt Cranes CO as the sole agent for KONE CRANES in Egypt. Another company was founded in 1993 by a variety of investors and stakeholders as the sole agent for YALE HOISTS of USA in Egypt. In 1996, CEC partnered with American Investments, the sole distributor of ACCOWRIGHT hoists in Egypt, to continue providing high-quality products to the marketplace. CEC continues to provide its premium services on the Egyptian market, distributing multiple brands in accordance with customer demands.
